SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 2018 – At approximately 15:00 hours (EST), SIM (Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal) Battalion Chief 131, Battalion Chief 132, Pumper 251, Pumper 252, Ladder 452, Pumper 253, Pumper 254, Pumper 255M, Ladder 455 and Light Rescue 555 responded to a call of a fire burning inside a wall of a residence with smoke showing in the Montréal suburb of Beaconsfield, QC. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that a fire was burning and quickly knocked it down with an interior attack. However, due to the small size of the fire, they did not call a 1st Alarm. We are happy to report that nobody was hurt during this incident. Great work by the firefighters, who ended up having to work in scorching hot temperatures that day.
