THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 2018 – At approximately 18:50 hours (EST), President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and Premier of Québec, Philippe Couillard, arrived at Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in the Montréal suburb of Dorval, QC to board a flight bound directly for Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport in Québec City, QC. They were escorted by a small plethora of SPVM (Service de police de la Ville de Montréal) officers, RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Protective Policing Service agents, DSSP (Direction des Services de sécurité et de protection) agents and Aéroports de Montréal Airport Patrol officers. The two had spent the day visiting various venues around Old Montréal and the Old Port before boarding their flight to Québec City to participate in the 2018 G7 Summit in Charlevoix, QC, set to commence tomorrow.
