Montréal | Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s RCMP Motorcade Leaving Parc-Extension with SPVM Escort

MONDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2017 – At approximately 16:30 hrs (EST) the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, met with Giuliana Fumagalli, the Mayor of Montréal’s Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough, and other municipal councillors at 405 Ogilvy Avenue in the Parc-Extension district. Trudeau left the meeting at 17:30 hrs in a motorcade consisting of unmarked RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Protective Policing Service vehicles as well as two SPVM (Service de police de la Ville de Montréal) Traffic Safety Division stealth vehicles, charged with escorting the convoy back to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. Note the subtle use of emergency lights and siren to clear pedestrians and traffic to the side. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a video of the PM as he was exiting the building because of how close his vehicle (the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban that was third in line) was to the building’s doors.

Footage was taken on December 18, 2017.
